In addition, during Black History Month, there are a whole host of events held around the county at Johnston Community College and the Benson Museum of Local History. NC Beer Month is a great way to kick off warmer days ahead. Featuring craft beers from breweries around North Carolina and beyond, plus music and great bites to eat— it’s the perfect way to experience what Johnston County has to offer

Strawberry Festival makes the season even sweeter. Featuring not just strawberries, but inflatables, arts & craft vendors, a Classic Car Show, timeless entertainment, and food from a variety of vendors— there’s something for everyone in your family.
